Anglo-Chinese Garden of Chambourcy in Yvelines created at the end of the 17th century by the aristocrat François Nicolas Henri Racine de Monville, its owner and creator named it Desert of Retz or Jardin des Lumières, may also have crossed the Alceste de Molière, to evoke those lonely places where, from the 17th century, people liked to retire and receive without a label.
